In therapy, I take a body-centred approach that recognizes how stress and trauma are not only held in the mind but also in the nervous system. Unprocessed experiences can manifest as tension, overwhelm, or patterns of dysregulation, making it difficult to feel present and at ease. By bringing awareness to bodily sensations and gently guiding the nervous system toward balance, I help clients release stored stress, build resilience, and reconnect with a sense of safety in both body and mind. Rather than focusing solely on thoughts and emotions, this approach fosters a deeper connection to the body’s natural capacity for healing.
Being trauma-informed is at the core of my work, ensuring that therapy unfolds at a pace that feels safe and manageable. I recognize that trauma can leave individuals feeling disconnected or stuck in cycles of fight, flight, or freeze. By prioritizing safety, choice, and nervous system regulation, I create a space where clients can explore their experiences without becoming overwhelmed. My goal is to support each person in developing greater self-awareness, emotional balance, and a sense of empowerment in their healing journey.
